Marmara University Faculty of Architecture and Design aims to create a corporate identity for the future while relying on a deep-rooted past and strong institutional structure. By combining the past and the future, it aims to build bridges between technology, art, science, education, industry and society. In this context, it aims to be an education and research institution where science, technology, ecology and social benefit-oriented studies stand out.

Mission

Marmara University Faculty of Architecture and Design adopts an approach to produce contemporary and interdisciplinary value and knowledge on a national and international scale for its students, academicians, areas of expertise and all segments of society in the context of education, research and social service. In the field of education, while striving to raise people with strong professional qualifications and to strengthen the scientific, cultural, intellectual, humanitarian and ethical values of the country, it aims to create social impact by activating its knowledge on the problems caused by socio-ecological crises in academic and scientific terms and develops collaborations with various stakeholders, local governments and non-governmental organisations in this direction. It focuses on being a research-oriented faculty by using the latest knowledge and technology combined with environmental sensitivity and ecological awareness.
