Marmara University Faculty of Architecture and Design

Marmara University Faculty of Architecture and Design was established on June 30, 2020. The Faculty consists of two departments: the Department of Architecture and the Department of Industrial Design.

Following a comprehensive restructuring implemented in 2024, the Faculty adopted a completely new academic structure starting with the 2024–2025 academic year. Accordingly, the Department of Architecture admitted its first students in September 2024, while the Department of Industrial Design welcomed its first students in 2025.

Drawing its strength from Marmara University's long-established history and strong institutional foundation, the Faculty continues to grow through its distinguished academic staff, ongoing and completed scientific research projects, and international academic mobility programmes (Erasmus+). The unique historical, cultural, and spatial setting of the Mehmet Genç Complex further enriches the Faculty's academic environment.
