F.A.Q.

For questions other than the information given here, it is necessary to apply to the Student Affairs with a petition. Write and submit your question in accordance with the petition template in Student Affairs.

1. In order for a student to be able to do an internship, the student must have completed the 4th semester (at the end of the 2nd grade) and must meet the conditions for taking courses. These conditions are explained in the "Principles of Taking Courses" in the "Marmara University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations". According to this; The student's general weighted average (GPA) at the beginning of the semester should not be lower than 1.80. In addition, the weighted grade point average (SPA) for both semesters in the last two semesters should not be below 2.00. 2. Both internships can be done in the same company as long as they meet the necessary conditions. In this case, a separate application is required for each internship.

3. The documents to be uploaded at the application stage through BYS must be a single pdf and must not exceed the size limit.

4. Even if Sunday and public holidays are working days in the company, they cannot be specified and counted as internship days. These days cannot be added to the internship book. The student will not be insured these days.

5. OHS documents do not need to be attached to any file or delivery. The control of these documents will be done by the members of the commission through the system.

6. Students who have completed OHS training and are successful in the exam do not need to submit a document, the absence of the document in their hands does not affect the process.

7. If the company where you will do your internship requests an OHS certificate and you have lost your certificate, apply to the Faculty Student Affairs.

8. The Internship Application Form and Service Contract (FORM-1) and Student SSI Statement (FORM-2) should be made into a single pdf file and uploaded in a way that does not exceed the file size defined in the BYS.

9. For those whose internship application is approved, "SSI Occupational Accident and Occupational Disease Insurance" is made by the faculty and a copy of the SSI Employment Statement can be obtained from the e-Government system. This only applies to students who will do their internship in Turkey.

10 Since you cannot start your internship until you receive the SSI Employment Statement, if you do not receive the documents one day before your internship start date, you should contact the Faculty Student Affairs via the e-mail address staj.mtf@marmara.edu.tr or by phone.

11. In case of starting the internship without the SSI Employment Statement, all legal responsibility belongs to the student and any penalties that may occur as a result will be reflected on the student.

12. Students who will do internship abroad are responsible for insurance; The student is not insured by the faculty. There is no need to show insurance transactions in his file.

13. You can follow up the procedures after the application (after receiving your employment notification from the e-Government) by writing to staj.mtf@marmara.edu.tr.

14. It is important for the follow-up and protection of your rights that you provide written information to the address staj.mtf@marmara.edu.tr on the same day, by attaching the documents, if any, about the illness, absenteeism or all other disruptions that may occur during the internship process. Otherwise, you may be penalized. It is the student's own responsibility to follow up for the validity of your internship. 15. In case of an occupational accident, it is obligatory to notify the student affairs of the faculty on the same day. In the event that the student cannot notify, the company is obliged to notify. Otherwise, the student is obliged to pay the penalty amount determined by SSI.

16. During the internship, the articles in the Internship Procedures and Principles should be followed step by step. First of all, you should keep the documents you prepared during the internship application process (defined in the Internship Procedures and Principles) until the end of the internship.

17. You can find the templates of the documents to be included in your internship file under the internship title on the Marmara University Faculty of Architecture and Design web page. Documents filled out other than current templates will not be accepted.

18. The original, wet-signed documents scanned and sent during the application should be placed in the internship file and delivered to the faculty at the end of the internship.

19. The “Internship Completion and Evaluation Form” must be placed in the internship delivery envelope without opening it.

20. The internship file should be hand-delivered to the faculty by the student himself.

21. All forms required for internship should be prepared in computer environment.

22. The internship file will be received only after all documents are ready.
